Red Blend.    Aged for 16 months in barrel.    It has a deep garnet-purple color.    Notes of cedar and smoked meats on the nose give way to black and red plums, earthy tones with hints of cassis and pencil shavings. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, elegant, polished, and lively with layers of red and black fruits and an earthy finish.    Pairs well with grilled or roasted red meats, lamb, duck, and mature cheeses.
