It presents an intense ruby color with violet hues.
Aromas of black and red fruits such as currants, cassis, ripe cherries, figs, and blackberries are present. Notes of sweet pepper, violet, tobacco, and leather can also be perceived. On the palate, cherry notes stand out along with raspberry, ripe plum, blueberries, licorice, and baking spices34.
Recommended with cuts of meaty fish that are powerful and well-seasoned; pastas with meat sauces.
