A deep and rich plum red with touches of violet.
Intense aromas of ripe red fruits with complex secondary notes of balsamic and vanilla. Rich in varietal flavors of plum and cherry from the Merlot, layered with ripe berry flavors from the Cabernet Franc, and unique balsamic and dark chocolate notes from the Colorino.
Pairs well with savory dishes such as Bistecca Fiorentina, tortelli with duck sauce, risotto with sausage, and lamb shoulder, as well as rich aged or peppered cheeses.
