It presents a complex and intense nose with aromas of black fruits like blackberry and plum, along with spice notes of black pepper, clove, and anise. Hints of leather, dark chocolate, and a light smokiness are also perceived. On the palate, the wine is full and well-balanced, with firm yet smooth tannins. Flavors of ripe black fruits, such as blackberry and blueberry, combine with notes of dark chocolate, licorice, and toasted spices. The finish is long and persistent, with subtle minerality and well-integrated acidity adding freshness.
This Syrah is ideal for pairing with roasted or grilled red meats, lamb, hearty stews, rich sauces, and aged cheeses.
