Good intensity. Ripe fruit, plum, with touches of cocoa, coffee, and delicate vanilla. Dry, well-expressed, and voluminous, with a smooth balance between meaty tannins and fruitiness, evident wood. Prolonged aftertaste.
Pairs well with moderately seasoned dishes such as roasted red meats, marinated duck, roast lamb, grilled ribs, paella, and semi-cured cheeses.
