White Wine | Pinot Blanc Reserve | Maison Gustave Lorentz

$956.25

   Pinot Blanc.

Founded in 1836, GUSTAVE LORENTZ currently owns 33 hectares of vineyards on the slopes of Bergheim in the heart of the Alsace vineyards, with 12 hectares classified as Grand Cru in Altenberg de Bergheim and 1.5 hectares in the Grand Cru Kanzlerberg.

Very pale straw yellow color, with bright flashes.

Fully fruity aromas, reminiscent of white fruit: apple, quince, and clearly peach. Tones of white flowers, honey, and some citrus are also evident. In the background, the characteristic minerality of the Alsatian terroir is clearly marked. On the palate, a very fresh wine with white fruit, fresh acidity, and very vibrant.

Pairs well with white fish in slightly spiced preparations, also a perfect match for many Thai-style dishes, rice, noodles, vegetables, and even pork. Ideal with seafood or medium-aged cheeses.

   Alsacia.

    France.
