It has an open, intense nose with fully fruity aromas, reminiscent of white fruit: apple, quince, and clearly peach. Tones of white flowers, honey, and some citrus are also evident. In the background, the characteristic minerality of the Alsatian terroir is clearly marked. On the palate, it is a very fresh wine with white fruit, fresh acidity, and very vibrant. It is well-rounded, giving it a broad presence in the mouth, persistent on the palate, pleasantly dry and balanced.
This wine pairs spectacularly with white fish in slightly spiced preparations. It is also a perfect match for many Thai-style dishes, rice, noodles, vegetables, and even pork. Ideal with seafood or medium-aged cheeses.
