Albariño.
This white wine stands out for belonging to a Designation of Origin with great personality, the Rías Baixas, characterized by a very particular climate: rainy, maritime, and with low sunshine, which allows for the production of fine, lively, and graceful whites. These wines are achieved thanks to the Albariño grape variety, a flagship of Galician wine. Its character is perfect and versatile, ensuring success with a very diverse audience.
Bright and clean straw yellow color with slight lemon hues.
On the nose, it is clean with floral and fruity aromas, especially apple, pear, and banana. It has a well-rounded character with notes of honey and citrus. On the palate, it is fresh and balanced, straightforward, and as typical of the varietal, it has a lively, pleasant acidity with a fruity character. The finish is correct and well-wrapped in mineral nuances. Ideal as an aperitif. Even better.
It pairs very well with appetizers, canapés, smoked seafood, all types of shellfish (oysters, mussels), lobster, garlic shrimp, squid in their ink, barnacles en papillote, langoustines, pasta with fish, chicken in creamy sauce, and soft cheeses (brie, double cream, Petit-Suisse).
